Yes, well... it does not behoove a Christian to quote the Koran to show the irrationality of Islam. Poorly-edited-rambling-and-contradictory pot, meet invariably-taken-out-of-context kettle.

Fair point, but yet it is still there.

It does not appear in the New Testament, nor would any of its kind.

Aye, there's the rub. Not many churches teach *just* the new testament.

it is only the fundamentalist Christian churches who really lean on it. They need to go back to the old book to find messages of hatred, violence and division.

Actual Christian churches do differenciate and do not view the Old Testament with authority
